Beat The Heat!

Keeping the air conditioned is important. When it is hot, people use AC (Air Conditioners) and when it is too cold, heaters come into use. All to keep the body temperature in balance - to kill the heat and to deal with the cool weather.

However, whether hot or moderate, the temperature of room in a building does not only depend upon the weather but also on the number of people in that particular room. When we breath in and breath out, we release carbon dioxide and there is also our body heat. You would have experienced that when when you are in a conference room packed with people, the hall gets warmer and soon the speakers can be seen sweating as well. The weather outside might be pleasant but the heat of body being released from the audience inside the seminar makes it suffocating. In such a circumstance, there are air conditioners to make the inside atmosphere pleasant. The air-conditioners have an outlet at the end of a pipe through which the air gets exhausted out of the room. This way, the temperature inside packed places can be maintained. The buildings that facilitate ventilation have planned inlets and outlets so as to maintain the intended flow inside the building. However, air may enter through the undesired and unplanned leaks or holes within the building. The outside air can then infiltrate through these places uncontrollably either mechanically (via pressurizing systems to move outside air) or from naturally occurring wind. The naturally occurring winds factor is not always suited to the comfort inside building because of environmental conditions that are not always predictable.

An air outlets works simultaneously with the unplanned injection of outside air inside the building. As the air from leaks enter inside the building, the outlets provide them with a passage through which the unwanted air can leave the building.

In the case above where a heated and packed room gets mentioned, it becomes essential to maintain an indoor air quality through energy intensive processes which call for a heating and cooling mechanisms that can deal with it smartly. When planning the room air distribution, it is crucial to determine how air is going to be introduced inside the target space (what kind of air inlet) and how it will flow out through what type of air outlets. You have to choose a long-lasting and efficient system of building ventilation so you need a solution that fits to building needs perfectly.
